Bio
With 25 years of real estate experience, Mike is responsible for the strategic planning and management of both portfolios, and is a member of the Senior Leadership Team for the CASA series of multifamily housing funds. Prior to his current role, he was responsible for sourcing direct transactions and identifying joint venture investment opportunities for the CASA series along with other various US accounts.
Before joining the business, Mike spent 16 years with Henderson Global Investors North America, where he ran the real estate transaction platform. Prior to that, he was employed by Equity Residential Properties Trust for ten years. With more than $4bn in transactions closed during his career, he has extensive experience in both single asset and portfolio transactions of direct real estate, joint venture, REIT and development deals.
Mike holds a BA in Economics from the University of Notre Dame, and an MS in Real Estate Appraisal and Investment Analysis from the University of Wisconsin. He serves on the Advisory Board for the National Multifamily Housing Council and is a member of the ULI Multifamily Product Council.
